DATA DIAGNOSTIC · 2 WEEKS

Know what data you have before paying for a dashboard.

In two weeks we map sources, define the metrics that matter and decide what to build first. No endless meetings, no dashboard nobody opens.

For universities, service companies, e-commerce and marketing teams with more than one data source.

I lead the diagnostic. Phobos invoices and executes campaigns, HubSpot, landing pages and design.

01

If any of this sounds familiar, the problem is not the dashboard: it is what sits underneath.

  • Every team measures differently and the numbers do not match.
  • Reports live in spreadsheets someone builds by hand every week.
  • There is a dashboard, but nobody opens it to decide.
  • Nobody knows which source is the right one when a simple question comes up.
02

Source map

Which systems and spreadsheets you have, who touches them and which one is the source of truth for each metric.

Metric definitions

Five to eight metrics with formula, owner and cadence. The ones you use, not the ones that look good.

Quality diagnosis

Duplicates, empty fields, contradictory rules and the three issues that most damage reporting.

Dashboard prototype

One screen with the key metrics, to validate the approach before building the full dashboard.

Phased plan

What to build first, what can wait and an estimate of scope and time for each stage.

  1. 01

    30-minute call

I understand the problem, who decides and what needs answering.

  2. 02

    Discovery

Access, sources, spreadsheets and current reports. Questions for each team.

  3. 03

    Analysis

I cross sources, flag contradictions and build the data map.

  4. 04

    Delivery

Document, prototype and a call to walk through it and decide the next step.

How much does the diagnostic cost?

It depends on the number of sources and areas. After the 30-minute call I send you a fixed quote. As a reference, a narrow scope (one main source and one area) starts at USD 900; more sources or areas increase the quote. If the project continues with Phobos, the diagnostic is credited against the implementation. Phobos invoices both the diagnostic and the implementation.

Do I need Power BI or another tool?

No. The diagnostic is tool-agnostic. If you already use Power BI, Qlik or Looker, I work with that; if not, the plan defines what to use.

How do you access the data?

We define it together. It can be read-only access to the sources or specific exports. Nothing moves without your permission.

What if my data is messy?

That is the most common case. The diagnostic exists to find out what you have, what is missing and what can be fixed without stopping the operation.

What happens after delivery?

You keep a phased plan. You can implement it with me or with your team; the document is written for both.

Start by knowing what you have.

A 30-minute call is enough to tell you whether the audit makes sense for your case.
